Travis Kelce is the ultimate Swiftie, and he doesn’t care who knows it!
The Kansas City Chiefs tight end took part in The HEARTest Yard golf tournament, supporting to Greg Olsen’s charity, which “supports families of children with congenital heart disease with in-home nursing care and comprehensive medical services at The HEARTest Yard Congenital Heart Center.”
And a photo of the tight end in a golf cart was captured, with fans quickly zeroing in on the number.
Kelce was riding around in cart No. 13, which happens to be Taylor Swift’s favorite number. And the photographer even had some fun with it too, tagging the singer.

So, why 13?
“I was born on the 13th. I turned 13 on Friday the 13th. My first album went gold in 13 weeks. My first No. 1 song had a 13-second intro. Every time I’ve won an award I’ve been seated in either the 13th seat, the 13th row, the 13th section or row M, which is the 13th letter,” Swift said around the time of her Fearless Tour (2009-2010). “Basically whenever a 13 comes up in my life, it’s a good thing.”

During the latest episode of New Heights, the tight end and his brother Jason Kelce welcomed Kansas City Chiefs defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo on the show. And when he began talking about how his relationship with head coach Andy Reid began, was where Kelce made the subtle but perfect Taylor Swift reference.
“Let me get the year right. It had to be the late 80s. ’88 or ’89,” Spagnuolo said.
“Oh man. The late 80s! Those were good years,” Kelce responded.
Now, he could have simply said it because he was born on October 5, 1989. However, it also just so happens that Swift was born that same year, and even has an album with that exact name.
Oh, and it’s worth mentioning that it happens to be one of Kelce’s favorite albums by the singer.
Kelce’s viral Eras Tour guest appearance had everyone talking, but his initial idea was actually to join in with the dancers for her song, “Blank Space.” As Swift sang, many of her dancers rode bikes in the background. And Kelce wanted to join in on the fun.
“I initially mentioned it to Tay. I was like, how funny would it be I just rolled out on one of the bikes during the 1989 era,” Travis said on the New Heights season 2 finale. “She started laughing. She was like would you seriously be up for doing something like that? And I was like, what? I would love to do that! Are you kidding me? I’ve seen the show enough. Might as well put me to work here.”
ut in the end, Swift decided to add him into another part of the show rather than that one.
“And sure enough she found the perfect part of the show for to come in,” the tight end added. “There was no bike in case I ran into somebody else or hit one of the dancers or anything. It was the safest option.”
It all worked out in the end.

According to Goodman, who only realized who was beside her after catching a glimpse from the corner of her eye, the duo were affectionate and relaxed throughout the night.
She observed them sipping cocktails, sharing a menu, exchanging playful kisses, and laughing frequently.
“They’re friendly and they’re just everything that those of us who are Swifties really believe they are,” she added. “I saw it up close and personal.”
Buccan’s owner checked in with Goodman and her guest to ensure they were comfortable with the famous pair sitting nearby, which they certainly were. As the dinner came to an end, Goodman couldn’t resist the opportunity to offer a few heartfelt words to the 14-time Grammy winner.
“I stood up and said, ‘Excuse me, I don’t mean to interrupt, but I’m probably one of your oldest and biggest Swifties on the planet,’” Goodman recalled. “She laughed. I said, ‘I just had to stop and congratulate you on the re-ownership of your masters. I’m so, so happy for you. Congratulations.’”
Swift warmly responded: “I noticed you! You are so beautiful. Thank you so much!” before shaking Goodman’s hand.
The moment came just days after Swift publicly announced that she had successfully bought back the rights to her original master recordings from Shamrock Capital.
The deal reportedly involved a nine-figure sum and marked the end of a six-year battle to reclaim the rights to her first six studio albums, initially sold by her former label Big Machine to Scooter Braun’s Ithaca Holdings in 2019.
Goodman also took a moment to address Kelce, a three-time Super Bowl champion, revealing her Kansas City roots and love for the Chiefs. She wished him well for the coming NFL season, which kicks off in September.
