Top Dem Facing Calls To Be Expelled From Congress After Anti-ICE Message

Conservatives criticized a Democratic congressman from California on social media after he shared a message urging federal officers detaining illegal immigrants in Los Angeles to “get the f— out.”

“ICE get the f— out of LA so that order can be restored,” Rep. Norma Torres posted on TikTok on Friday as protests and riots erupted in response to the raids. Conservatives on social media swiftly responded to the video, accusing Torres, who was born in Guatemala and became a U.S. citizen in the 1990s, of inciting the violence and hostility directed at ICE officers that followed in the days ahead.

“This is a sitting member of Congress,” the conservative influencer account Libs of TikTok remarked on X.

“Torres is a sitting member of Congress and a complete lunatic,” conservative influencer Paul Szypula stated on X.

“Demonic possession,” White House communications director Steven Cheung commented on X.

Conservative influencer Benny Johnson labeled Torres as “deranged” in a post on X, and several users, including Arizona state Sen. Wendy Rogers, called for her expulsion from Congress.

“Arrest her now,” the conservative influencer account Catturd urged on X.

“Found a Communist in Congress,” author James Lindsay declared on X. “Make it an ad,” conservative commentator Stephen L. Miller suggested on X.

This situation arises as Trump faces promised consequences for protestors who have spat on police officers during the anti-ICE riots in Los Angeles, California.

Shortly after deploying National Guard troops to Los Angeles, California, President Donald Trump assured that there would be consequences for protestors who spit on police officers.

While addressing reporters alongside Secretary of State Marco Rubio in New Jersey before boarding Air Force One, the president criticized the tactics employed by the protestors.

On Saturday, he authorized the deployment of no fewer than 2,000 National Guard troops to Los Angeles in reaction to protests concerning ICE raids on employers.

Trump informed reporters that he is contemplating the invocation of the Insurrection Act in response to the riots and disorder.

A recent report has identified one of the primary groups responsible for the anti-ICE protests occurring on the streets of Los Angeles on Sunday, which has resulted in numerous instances of insulting and harassing Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents.

Former Vice President Kamala Harris found herself on the incorrect side of the illegal immigration debate during her unsuccessful bid to prevent President Donald Trump from securing a second presidential term, and she continues to be on the wrong side as riots aimed at obstructing immigration enforcement efforts in Los Angeles escalated over the weekend.

Harris released a statement denouncing President Trump’s decision to utilize the California National Guard to assist in restoring order in the beleaguered city after Democratic Governor Gavin Newsom and Democratic Mayor Karen Bass declined to intervene while federal agents were being attacked and assaulted.

“Los Angeles is my home. Like many Americans, I am horrified by what we are witnessing on the streets of our city,” Harris stated. “The deployment of the National Guard represents a perilous escalation intended to incite chaos.

“Alongside the recent ICE raids in Southern California and throughout our nation, this is part of the Trump Administration’s cruel and calculated strategy to instill panic and division,” she continued, noting that the protests were “mostly peaceful” despite the extensive damage to ICE and Border Patrol vehicles, injuries to ICE personnel, and the looting and burning of stores in downtown L.A.

“The actions of this Administration are not focused on public safety — they are aimed at inciting fear,” she asserted, making a false claim.

This statement follows President Donald Trump’s decision to federalize nearly 2,000 California National Guard troops, while Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth placed an additional 500 U.S. Marines stationed nearby at Camp Pendleton on standby.
