After the news of Biden’s health condition, the eldest son of the former president, Donald Trump Jr., has come under fire for what appears to be an insensitive remark.
The office of the 82-year-old former president confirmed on Sunday, May 18, that Biden has been diagnosed with prostate cancer that has metastasized to his bones, with a Gleason score of nine (Grade Group 5).
In the aftermath, many individuals have expressed their well wishes for Biden, including President Donald Trump.
However, it appears that his son did not receive the message, as Don Jr. took the opportunity to seemingly insult Biden’s wife, Jill.
He remarked, “What I wish to understand is how Dr. Jill Biden overlooked stage five metastatic cancer, or is this merely another instance of concealment?”
Additionally, the 47-year-old executive vice president and trustee of the Trump Organization agreed “without a doubt” with the assertion that Biden was “governing the nation as if he were a mere figurehead.”
Since that time, numerous individuals have condemned his statement as “repugnant” and “utterly disgraceful.”

Throughout the campaign trail last year, concerns regarding President Biden’s health were widespread.
The then-White House Press Secretary, Karine Jean-Pierre, released a statement denying allegations of Biden having Alzheimer’s disease, which arose following his performance in a 90-minute debate against Trump that heightened public anxiety.
After stepping back from the race, the 46th president of the United States entrusted the leadership to former Vice President Kamala Harris, who ultimately faced defeat against Trump.
Although Biden’s representatives announced that medical professionals classified his prostate cancer as ‘hormone-sensitive,’ permitting ‘effective treatment’ of the condition, it is noteworthy that the cancer has a Gleason score of Grade 5, indicating it is highly aggressive.
Don Jr.’s remarks coincided with a heartfelt message from the 44th President, Barack Obama, who expressed on Twitter, ‘Michelle and I are thinking of the entire Biden family.’
He added, ‘No one has done more to discover breakthrough treatments for cancer in all its forms than Joe, and I am confident he will confront this challenge with his characteristic determination and grace.’
He concluded with, ‘We pray for a swift and complete recovery.’ In a similar vein, President Trump conveyed his support, stating, ‘Melania and I are deeply saddened to learn of Joe Biden’s recent medical diagnosis.’
