Angel Reese Boasts Rose BC’s ‘Chip’ After Crushing It On The Court, Drops Bold Message For Chicago Sky Fans.

Ever since Angel Reese made her WNBA debut, expectations have been high for her from day one. After a standout performance at the University of Maryland and helping LSU win a National Championship, her rookie season at the Chicago Sky only added to that.

Angel Reese Just Dropped the Mic on Her Love Life—And Fans Are Shock!

In the Unrivaled 3-on-3 league, her performance has been stellar, as evidenced by her significant contributions to Rose BC’s unexpected success. After being unexpectedly ranked last in the preseason, Reese’s team has proven the doubters wrong by currently sitting in second place with a 6-4 record. And she took no time to take a shot at her critiques. While remaining rooted in her confidence, Reese sent a strong message to the Chicago Sky fans.

“We have a chip on our shoulder right now. Five-game winning streak, we keep going. They ranked us at the bottom. We was the last team. Nobody believed in us, and we believed in each other in that locker room. So, we just keep working, and the work shows,” Reese said.

While she is undoubtedly having a great rookie season and got full blown support from the likes of Shaquille O’Neal, Reese also faces scrutiny around her play style. Despite finishing as the runner-up for Rookie of the Year and earning an All-Star selection, the Chi Barbie has doubters around the league as well.

Her notable skills were on full display during Rose BC’s victory over Phantom BC. She recorded an impressive 23 points, 14 rebounds, five assists, and one steal.

Angel Reese Gets An Upper Hand Over Caitlin Clark

While Angel Reese is shining as brightly after her professional debut, everybody unapologetically compares her to Caitlin Clark. And it’s obvious. Both of the rookies are phenomenal, and Clark has overshadowed Reese at times.

But Ariel Atkins’ addition to the Chicago Sky could be a game-changer in the team’s quest to challenge the Indiana Fever. As a seasoned guard with championship experience and numerous accolades to her name, Atkins brings a lot to the table.

As Atkins will take a grip over the team’s defensive needs, it will allow Reese the freedom to focus more on her offensive skills, where she has the potential to shine. This synergy could help Reese have an upper hand over the fierce competition posed by Clark.

With Atkins taking on the role of a defensive anchor, her presence will be crucial in matching Clark’s offensive firepower. Clark is known for her ability to score from anywhere on the court and create plays, just like Stephen Curry.

And it will be imperative for the Sky to guard her effectively. Atkins, a two-time All-Star and one of the league’s top defenders, has the capability to disrupt Clark’s rhythm and limit her scoring opportunities.
