Fox News personalities Hillary Vaughn, 32, and Peter Doocy, 35, welcomed their daughter, Bridget Blake Doocy, into the world on February 1 2023, marking a joyful new chapter in their lives.
Peter Doocy, White House correspondent, and Hillary Vaughn, a broadcaster with Fox Business Network, were married in a private ceremony held in South Carolina in April 2021.
As times were tough, the wedding took place with just 18 guests in attendance, a decision influenced by the Covid-19 pandemic. Peter’s father, Steve Doocy, co-host of Fox & Friends, shared that the couple originally planned to tie the knot in January 2021.
He described the ceremony as “beautiful” and mentioned that he had the honor of being his son’s best man, delivering a special speech during the event.

<p>Steve Doocy shared that it’s a family tradition for the Doocys to write poems for special celebrations.</p>
<p>Reflecting on his son Peter’s wedding, he said, “I was good until the next to last line. I had to stop for a second,” noting that reading the poem brought back emotional memories from Peter’s childhood.</p>

Looking back on the day, Steve described the atmosphere fondly, saying, “The weather was perfect. The food was perfect. It was absolutely lovely.”
