TV host Jon Stewart has issued a chilling forecast regarding the conclusion of Donald Trump’s presidency.
The presenter of The Daily Show has criticized the president with a prediction about how his administration will ultimately depart.
During an appearance on The Bill Simmons Podcast, Stewart began by condemning Trump’s $20 billion lawsuit against CBS News and Paramount, following the president’s allegations of interference in his 2024 election campaign after an interview with Kamala Harris.
Stewart remarked: “What you are witnessing now is that everyone must pay homage to the king,” further expressing his willingness to continue hosting The Daily Show ‘until the company is acquired by individuals who have no interest in The Daily Show.’
“And then who the f*** knows what will transpire. I mean, observe what they are currently doing to ’60 Minutes’ and CBS News and everything else,” he continued.
“Now, one can make remarks about, ‘Well, I didn’t appreciate the way they edited it, as often people do not like the editing. However, it certainly does not reach the threshold of libel, slander, or whatever else they are pursuing with a $2 billion lawsuit.
“It is a completely subjective editorial choice,” Stewart commented regarding Harris’ CBS interview prior to the election.
“So ultimately, at the conclusion of this, does Trump set our f* country ablaze for insurance money? Where are we headed?,” he added.
“Trump’s initial 100 days resemble a scenario where America landed on the moon and eliminated Bin Laden in the same operation! Did you think you could conceal yourself on the moon, Bin Laden? Get him, boys!’ According to Trump, the most successful 100 days in the annals of our nation. Can anyone present a counterargument?” he stated.
