On the NBC morning show\u2019s Wednesday, February 18, episode, the hosts each wore a yellow ribbon pin with a flower in the center, and the\u00a0Today<\/em>\u00a0set was decorated with dozens of yellow flowers. \u201cSo many people [are] placing yellow flowers near Nancy\u2019s home and all across the city. And we got a suggestion from one of our viewers, and we\u2019re doing the same here,\u201d\u00a0Hoda Kotb, who is filling in for Savannah, explained. \u201cWe have yellow roses around studio 1A, and we are all wearing ribbons as we send our love to Savannah and her family.\u201d<\/p>\n

Craig Melvin\u00a0noted, \u201cCases like this, they get solved every day. They\u2019re not always solved in two or three weeks. They get solved all the time.\u201d\u00a0Carson Daly, for his part, added, \u201cWe\u2019re used to watching the TV show, where you get it all in an hour. But I think we articulated it yesterday for the national collective. This is our missing mom, and this is a nice symbol.\u201d<\/p>\n

Melvin went on to state that he and the rest of the\u00a0Today<\/em>\u00a0crew \u201cremain hopeful\u201d that Nancy will be safely returned to her family.<\/p>\n

Earlier this month, local Arizona flower shop owner Matt Bigg\u00a0told\u00a0NBC\u2019s Kelly O\u2019Donnell that his business is \u201chappy to contribute\u201d to the flowers being left at Nancy\u2019s Tucson home. \u201cIf it brings any comfort or relief to the family, it\u2019s nice to be able to give them that,\u201d he stated.<\/p>\n
