President Donald Trump criticized Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia during a rally Friday, days before she is scheduled to leave Congress. Trump made the remarks at a campaign rally in Rocky Mount, North Carolina. During his speech, Trump referred to Greene as a \u201cstone cold liberal\u201d and \u201chighly neurotic,\u201d Mediaite\u00a0reported<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Trump again described Greene as \u201chighly neurotic\u201d later in his remarks. He dismissed suggestions that Greene was \u201cbrave\u201d for resigning from Congress. Trump said he would have endorsed a primary challenger who would have defeated Greene.<\/p>\n

\u201cNo, brave would be to stay,\u201d Trump said. Greene has not publicly responded to Trump\u2019s remarks.<\/p>\n

Her resignation will create an open seat in Georgia that is expected to draw significant Republican interest.<\/p>\n
