Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Director Tom Homan shared some tragic news when he spoke at the Republican National Lawyers Association\u2019s annual policy conference. At the event on Friday, he shared the story of ICE recently rescuing a pregnant 14-year-old girl who had been trafficked.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe just found one two days ago. A 14-year-old little girl. Living with two adult males. Who trafficked her. We found her, she\u2019s pregnant. From trafficking being forced into prostitution. 14 years old. We are taking care of her. Both physically and mentally,\u201d Homan said.<\/p>\n

\u201cDespite what the media says, we are not heartless. We care about these kids. I am a father. That s**t (human trafficking) is happening every day. We are going to put an end to it. Everything we can do,\u201d Homan added.<\/p>\n

Since President Donald Trump made his return to the White House, the change in illegal immigrant encounters at the border has been dramatic.<\/p>\n

A report from the Department of Homeland Security showed a 93 percent drop in daily encounters, 95 percent less \u201cgotaways,\u201d which are those who managed to sneak in undetected, and an eye-popping 99.99% decrease in illegal migrant crossings.<\/p>\n

During a recent White House press briefing, Homan said that he believes there are at least 20 million illegal aliens in the country, including about 700,000 with criminal charges \u201cwalking the streets.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cLook, I started in the Border Patrol in 1984. I\u2019ve been at this for over 40 years. I\u2019ve worked for six presidents, starting with Ronald Reagan. Every president I ever worked for took border security seriously because you can\u2019t have national security if you don\u2019t have strong border security. We got to know who\u2019s coming in, what\u2019s coming in, where it\u2019s coming in, why it\u2019s coming in, right?\u201d Homan said.<\/p>\n

\u201cEven President Obama and President Clinton took some steps to secure the border because they understood national security was important. Joe Biden was the first president in the history of this nation who came into office and unsecured the border on purpose. That\u2019s just a fact. We handed the Biden Administration \u2014 after President Trump\u2019s first administration, we handed the Biden Administration the most secure border in my lifetime, and he unsecured it on purpose,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

Homan continued, \u201cNow, President Trump and this administration here, the success is unprecedented. We beat Trump\u2019s first administration on border success. Border numbers are at historic law. Today, as I\u2019m standing here, we have the most secure border in the history of this nation. And the numbers prove it.\u201d<\/p>\n

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt also announced that Trump\u2019s administration is in \u201cthe beginning stages of carrying out the largest deportation campaign in American history.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cToday, we kick off a 100-day week with a focus on the president\u2019s historic effort to secure our southern border. Later this afternoon, President Trump will sign an executive order on law and order and another executive order on sanctuary cities,\u201d Leavitt said.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe first EO will strengthen and unleash America\u2019s law enforcement to pursue criminals and protect innocent citizens. The second EO is centered around protecting American communities from criminal aliens, and it will direct the attorney general and secretary of Homeland Security to publish a list of state and local jurisdictions that obstruct the enforcement of federal immigration laws,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n

\u201cAfter these are signed, the president will have signed more than 140 executive orders already, rapidly approaching the total number signed by the Biden Administration over the course of four years in office,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

President Trump and his administration have remained steadfastly focused this entire year on immigration, securing the U.S. border, and deporting as many illegal aliens as possible.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
