Blind to Billionaire also clarified what the threshold looks like for couples.<\/p>\n
He said, \u201cGenerally, the threshold they put in place for income is $75,000 as an individual, $150,000 dollars as a married couple,\u201d<\/p>\n
This means it doesn\u2019t matter whether you\u2019re employed or not. If your income falls under the threshold, you\u2019re most likely in line to receive the payment.<\/p>\n
That\u2019s brought a sigh of relief to many who feared being left out due to job loss or non-traditional income.<\/p>\n
In spite of this guidance, the situation is still evolving. The YouTuber warned viewers that \u201cthe government do not have a written plan for this\u201d yet, and all current information is subject to change.<\/p>\n
Even Trump has been vague about the rollout, only confirming that the payments wouldn\u2019t arrive until sometime in 2026.<\/p>\n

Apart from this, Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent offered a cautious take on the future of the plan, telling Fox Business: \u201cWe will see,\u201d when asked if it will happen. \u201cWe need legislation for that.\u201d<\/p>\n
The money itself would come from Trump\u2019s expansive tariff policies, particularly through the International Emergency Economic Powers Act (IEEPA), which has generated about $90 billion since inception through September 23, and $195.9 billion overall by the end of August 2025.<\/p>\n
