Erika Kirk expressed that she prayed to God for a pregnancy upon learning about the murder of her husband, Charlie Kirk, who co-founded Turning Point USA, and advised other young couples to take action sooner rather than later.<\/p>\n

During a recent sold-out event in Glendale, Arizona, Erika participated in the last segment of \u201cThe Megyn Kelly Live Tour\u201d alongside Megyn Kelly, where they discussed her prayer for pregnancy and how her children are coping with the absence of their father. Kelly highlighted that Erika and Charlie had two children together and inquired about the number of kids they had envisioned having.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe wanted to have four, and I was praying to God that I was pregnant when he got murdered\u2026\u201d Erika said, as her voice cracked and she got emotional, wiping tears, clearly bringing up an emotional issue for her.<\/p>\n

\u201cI was like, oh goodness, that would be the ultimate blessing out of this catastrophe,\u201d she added. \u201cSo now, when I see young couples, I tell them, please, don\u2019t put it off. Especially if you\u2019re a young woman, don\u2019t put it off.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cYou can always have a career. You can always go back to work,\u201d Kirk continued. \u201cYou can never just go back to having children. And they grow so fast and so quickly. But I was praying. Both of us were. We were really excited to just expand our family.\u201d<\/p>\n

Kelly expressed a sentiment shared by many\u2014that, in time, we would discover Erika was expecting following Charlie\u2019s passing. However, that announcement never arrived.<\/p>\n

\u201cOne day they\u2019ll find out, right now they\u2019re just little loves, and one day, they\u2019ll find out that they\u2019re Charlie Kirk\u2019s children, and they\u2019ll know what that means,\u201d Kelly said, bringing cheers from the audience.<\/p>\n

At one moment, Kelly inquired of Erika about the children and their response to the loss, asking in particular about how their three-year-old daughter was coping. \u201cWe talk about heaven\u2026I just want her to know that Daddy is having so much fun and building a place for her and our family in heaven,\u201d Erika said.<\/p>\n
