Those rumors surfaced in a Daily Beast story alleging the Trumps would not be married today without their connection to the disgraced financier.<\/p>\n<p>On Monday, the outlet announced it had fully retracted the report by Michael Wolff after receiving a letter from Melania Trump\u2019s legal team. The article was based on Wolff\u2019s podcast claim that Epstein had been \u201cvery involved\u201d in introducing the couple during a 1990s social gathering.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cShe\u2019s introduced by a model agent, both of whom Trump and Epstein are involved with. She\u2019s introduced to Trump that way,\u201d Wolff alleged. \u201cEpstein knows her well.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/trendingpoliticsnews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/beast-2.png\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Wolff, criticized by various far-left media figures for his misrepresentation of facts, appears to have lost the trust of his editors, as indicated in the outlet\u2019s note. \u201cUpon reflection, we have determined that the article did not meet our standards and has therefore been removed from our platforms,\u201d it reads.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn response to a letter from the First Lady\u2019s attorneys, The Daily Beast has also removed a portion of an episode of The Daily Beast Podcast titled \u2018Trump\u2019s Epstein Scandal Can\u2019t Stop Won\u2019t Stop\u2019 referencing the First Lady.
