Last night, the TPUSA event at the University of California, Berkeley, descended into chaos when a left-wing group of Antifa thugs disrupted the event.<\/p>\n

One report noted:<\/p>\n

A bloody fight broke out near the University of California, Berkeley, on Monday afternoon, ahead of a Turning Point USA event on campus.<\/em><\/p>\n

The event, which will feature Dr. Frank Turek and Rob Schneider, marks the end of the \u201cThis Is The Turning Point\u201d tour.<\/em><\/p>\n

It takes place just two months after TPUSA\u2019s founder Charlie Kirk was assassinated at a campus event in Utah on Sept. 10.\u00a0 The confrontation erupted at around 4:30 PST. During the brawl, two men were seen fighting each other, one of whom had blood gushing from his face.<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Matt Vespa of TownHall.com noted: \u201cCollege campuses should be a bastion of free speech. Sure, they\u2019re also liberal cesspools, but one used to be able to voice a contrary opinion that ran counter to the progressive ethos without total war breaking out.\u201d<\/p>\n

Today\u2019s Leftists have made it crystal clear \u2014 free speech, free thought, and diversity of opinion have no place in their worldview. They prove it every single day, and Monday night was just the latest example of their intolerance on full display.<\/p>\n

But now, Assistant Attorney General Harmeet Dhillon is stepping in and putting UC Berkeley on notice. The message is simple: the days of silencing voices you don\u2019t agree with are over:<\/p>\n

@UCBerkeley and the City of Berkeley should expect some incoming @CivilRights correspondence. And more. In America, we do not allow citizens to be attacked by violent thugs and shrug and turn our backs. Been there, done that, not on our watch.<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n
