{"id":19049,"date":"2025-10-21T22:56:08","date_gmt":"2025-10-21T22:56:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cndailynews.store\/?p=19049"},"modified":"2025-10-21T22:56:08","modified_gmt":"2025-10-21T22:56:08","slug":"vp-vance-teases-2028-bid-says-it-wont-be-given-to-him-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cndailynews.store\/?p=19049","title":{"rendered":"VP Vance Teases 2028 Bid, Says It Won\u2019t Be \u2018Given\u2019 To Him"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a class=\"image-link\" href=\"https:\/\/newsamada12.store\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/19.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"attachment-hitmag-featured size-hitmag-featured wp-post-image\" src=\"https:\/\/newsamada12.store\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/19-735x400.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"735\" height=\"400\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<div class=\"entry-content\">\n<p>Vice President JD Vance stopped short of declaring that he would run for president in 2028, but did say that if he does his job properly, \u201cthe politics will figure itself out.\u201d<\/p>\n<div class=\"code-block code-block-1\">\n<div id=\"e1c09a52-67a1-44a3-a58e-fc2bf67380c6\" class=\"_ap_apex_ad\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>During an appearance on \u201cMy View\u201d with Lara Trump on Saturday night, Vance \u2014 who won over the country with his strength in the face of\u00a0personal and financial problems growing up\u00a0\u2014 said he \u201cdoesn\u2019t like thinking about\u201d running for president and stressed that his focus is now on his current job.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf we do a good job in 2025 and 2026, then we can talk about the politics in 2027,\u201d Vance said. \u201cI really think the American people are so fed up with folks who are already running for the next job, seven months into the current one.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The second-in-command said that if he does run, he knows he will\u00a0have to work for it.<\/p>\n<div class=\"code-block code-block-2\">Advertisement<\/div>\n<p>\u201cThere are a lot of great people. If I do end up running, it\u2019s not going to be given to me\u2014either on the Republican side or on the national side. I\u2019m just going to keep on working hard.\u2026 [This] may be the most important job I ever had, outside of being a father to those three beautiful kids. So I\u2019m going to try to do my best job, and I think if I do that, the politics will figure itself out,\u201d Vance said.<\/p>\n<p>When asked specifically about potential 2028 Democratic candidates, he noted most of them \u201cobviously have very bad records.\u201d<\/p>\n<div class=\"code-block code-block-7\">Advertisement&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div id=\"as5808\" data-title=\"You Might Also Like\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>Vance mostly talked on his own ticket, praising President Donald Trump\u2019s hard work and trusted leadership style and saying that the president \u201cdoesn\u2019t have an off switch.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSometimes, the president will call you at 12:30 or 2 a.m., and then call you at 6 a.m. about a totally different topic,\u201d Vance said. \u201cIt\u2019s like, \u2018Mr. president, did you go to sleep last night.\u2019\u2026 What\u2019s made this so much fun is the president, all the time, just saying, \u2018JD you go and do this,\u2019 or \u2018JD you go and talk to these leaders about this particular issue.\u2019 That ability to delegate and trust his people has been really amazing.\u201d<\/p>\n<div class=\"code-block code-block-10\">Advertisement<\/div>\n<p>WATCH:<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/video.foxnews.com\/v\/video-embed.html?video_id=6378669652112&amp;loc=conservativebrief.com&amp;ref=https%3A%2F%2Fconservativebrief.com%2Fvp-vance-trump-94925%2F&amp;_xcf=\" width=\"466\" height=\"263\" frameborder=\"0\" marginwidth=\"0\" marginheight=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\" aria-label=\"video embed\" data-mce-fragment=\"1\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Vance made headlines last week when he said President Trump is in \u201cincredibly good health\u201d but stressed he is prepared to assume leadership if necessary.<\/p>\n<p>In an interview with USA Today published Friday, Vance was asked about Trump\u2019s age; the president began his second term at 78 and turned 79 in June.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe president is in incredibly good health,\u201d Vance\u00a0told\u00a0the outlet. \u201cHe\u2019s got incredible energy. He\u2019s the last person making phone calls at night, and he\u2019s the first person who wakes up, and the first person making phone calls in the morning.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The vice president was asked, given that he\u2019s \u201cone heartbeat away from the presidency\u201d and would be one of the youngest in U.S. history should he need to fulfill the role soon, if he was ready to be commander-in-chief.<\/p>\n<div class=\"code-block code-block-12\">\n<div data-delay=\"4000\" data-block=\"12\">\n<div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>\u201cYes, things can always happen.
