New York Post<\/a>, James has been indicted by a federal grand jury on charges of mortgage fraud. The report states that Bill Pulte, a federal housing regulator, referred James to the Justice Department in April, alleging that she \u201cfalsified records\u201d to acquire a property in Virginia.<\/p>\nA video clip of Letitia James declaring, \u201cNo one is above the law,\u201d is now making the rounds on social media \u2014 and the irony couldn\u2019t be richer.<\/p>\n
Because you can already see what\u2019s coming: if James or Comey end up getting indicted, the Democrats and their media echo chamber will instantly start screeching about \u201cauthoritarianism\u201d and \u201cthe weaponization of justice.\u201d<\/p>\n
But when that happens, remember their own mantra \u2014 \u201cno one is above the law.\u201d They used it often when Trump was getting raided by Chris Wray\u2019s FBI and Merrick Garland\u2019s DOJ, when Trump was indicted in Fulton County, Ga., and, of course, when Tish indicted him.<\/p>\n
