Former Fox News host Judge Jeanine Pirro has a new job, and a familiar face may be replacing her on the top-rated cable news channel.<\/p>\n

A White House source said that Alina Habba, the former attorney for President Donald Trump who is serving as U.S. Attorney for New Jersey, is being eyed to replace Pirro as a host on \u201cThe Five,\u201d The Daily Mail\u00a0reported<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The report said that Habba is considering taking the job and avoiding the confirmation process to become the US Attorney for New Jersey full-time.<\/p>\n

\u201cDiscussions about a permanent replacement have not even started, so her name can\u2019t be part of the mix,\u201d A Fox News source said to The Daily Mail.<\/p>\n

\u201cRotating Fox News personalities will fill the seat on The Five until a permanent co-host is named,\u201d a Fox News spokesperson said.<\/p>\n

Because of her legal background and tough personality, the White House source said that Habba may be the only person who could step into Pirro\u2019s spot.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere aren\u2019t many people who can fill a Jeanine personality void. Alina\u2019s one,\u201d the source said.<\/p>\n

On Thursday, the president announced the appointment of Judge Jeanine Pirro, \u00a0co-host of the Fox News show \u201cThe Five,\u201d to be the interim U.S. Attorney for Washington, D.C.<\/p>\n

\u201cI am pleased to announce that Judge Jeanine Pirro will be appointed interim United States Attorney for the District of Columbia,\u201d the president said on Truth Social. \u201cJeanine is incredibly well qualified for this position, and is considered one of the Top District Attorneys in the History of the State of New York.
