The offense carries a maximum penalty of\u00a020 years in prison<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

According to the U.S. Department of Justice, the pair operated through a company called\u00a0ALX Solutions Inc.<\/strong>, which prosecutors say was created shortly after the Commerce Department imposed stricter licensing rules on advanced semiconductors and GPUs.
