Neighbors say the transgender partner of Charlie Kirk\u2019s suspected killer has disappeared after leaving the Utah townhouse the two once shared, raising questions about their whereabouts.<\/p>\n
Lance Twiggs, who lived with 22-year-old Tyler Robinson when Robinson allegedly shot Kirk on Sept. 10, is no longer at the residence. A reporter visiting the property Tuesday observed unopened mail stacked near the front door.<\/p>\n
Authorities are investigating Twiggs, a biological male, as a possible co-conspirator after text messages show Robinson allegedly confessed to the killing and urged Twiggs not to share the messages or contact police.<\/p>\n
Mail continues to accumulate outside the $1,800-a-month townhouse, where a police presence remains visible nearly two weeks after the shooting. Neighbors said they have not seen any activity at the property.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt definitely is a shock it happened here. It\u2019s a quiet neighborhood. You know your neighbor on your left or your right, but people are pretty isolated,\u201d he told the NY Post. \u201cI haven\u2019t seen anyone come out. There are still all these notes on the door, so it looks like nobody has been in there.\u201d<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, Washington County Sheriff Nate Brooksby previously told the outlet that Twiggs was in a \u201csafe space very far away from St. George,\u201d and needed \u201cto lay low for a long time.\u201d<\/p>\n
Twiggs has not been charged in connection with Kirk\u2019s killing, while Robinson faces a possible death sentence on charges of aggravated murder, obstruction of justice, and witness tampering. According to the New York Post, investigators found a note under Twiggs\u2019s keyboard in which Robinson outlined his motive, accusing Kirk of \u201cspreading hate\u201d on college campuses.<\/p>\n
